The Evolution of Victara
Victara operates within the same clinic as Carlson Urology, where I have practiced for more than two decades with a focus on pelvic medicine and surgery for men and women. Through these many busy years, I have seen and done it all in this field. I have helped thousands of patients find their way back to health and enjoy an improved quality of life. I have published research, led my peers, and trained young surgeons from across the globe. But there is more work to be done.
Healthcare is evolving and new innovations are impacting treatment decisions at a historic level. Patients today are informed, proactive, and looking for solutions that go beyond the usual offerings of publicly funded medicine, where it is challenging to introduce such solutions and to optimize their integration into the existing paradigms grounded in pharmacotherapy and surgery. As an author of several clinical practice guidelines, I know that many patients would benefit from lifestyle changes and alternative treatments; however, they are most left to their own devices to find them, and those providing them may not be knowledgeable in the field or invested in a successful outcome.

Over my career I have observed a conspicuous link between pelvic health conditions and mental health concerns in my patients, and I have become increasingly interested in supporting mental health for all patients. In response, Victara offers a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) solution for patients with or without a pelvic condition:

Finally, Victara offers uninsured surgical services for men including:
